Reservation and Delegation
1. Book Reservation
Patrons may reserve a book only when all copies of that title at their home library location are currently checked out. Once a reserved book is returned, the patron who placed the reservation will receive borrowing priority. When a reservation is placed, the current borrower of that book will also be notified. Reservations can only be made for books held in the local collection.
How to Reserve:
(1) Go to the library homepage and log in to "My Library" using your campus network account and password.
(2) Search for the book and view the list of available copies.
(3) Click "Reserve," choose the local pickup location, select the reservation option, and click "Execute Reservation."
(4) After receiving the reservation notification, the reader must complete the borrowing process at the library's borrowing and returning center within 5 days.
(5) Email is the only system notification method, so please ensure your email address is accurately filled in "My Library."
2. Book Request Service
If a book is not available at your home library location, you may use the Request function to borrow it from another campus library. You can check out and return the requested item at your own library. Requests can only be placed for books held at non-local collections.
