II. Fee Schedule for Citation Search and Impact Reports

On-Campus Users:
Note: On-campus users refer to requesters affiliated with Southern Medical University or its directly affiliated hospitals.

(1) Chinese Literature:

•  Citation Search (Inclusion Verification): RMB 10 per article

•  Impact Report (Citation Count):

- If citation count < 10: RMB 5 per article

- If citation count ≥ 10: RMB 10 per article

(2) Foreign Literature:

•  Citation Search (Inclusion Verification per database): RMB 20 per article per database

•  Impact Report (Including self-citations/other-citations breakdown): RMB 2 × Total Citation Frequency

Off-Campus Users:

       (1) Chinese Literature:

•  Citation Search (Inclusion Verification): RMB 10 per article

•  Impact Report (Citation Count):

- If citation count < 10: RMB 5 per article

- If citation count ≥ 10: RMB 10 per article

       (2) Foreign Literature:

•  Citation Search (Inclusion Verification per database): RMB 50 per article per database

•  Impact Report (Including self-citations/other-citations breakdown): RMB 2 × Total Citation Frequency

Additional Notes:

•  Two hard copies of the final search report will be provided free of charge. Additional copies will not be supplied; please scan the provided copies for your own records if needed.

•  Subsequent requests submitted later will be treated as new orders and charged accordingly at the standard rates.

•  On-campus users refer to those whose commissioning unit is Southern Medical University or its directly affiliated hospitals.

 

III. Fee Schedule for Scientific Novelty Search

•  Fees are determined in accordance with the regulations set by the Sci-Tech Novelty Search Stations of the Ministry of Education. This fee structure has been filed with the University Finance Office for reference and compliance.

Notes:

1. On-campus projects refer to those commissioned by Southern Medical University or its directly affiliated hospitals (as the primary commissioning unit). Patent novelty search fees are the same for both on-campus and off-campus users.

2. If a standard novelty search project contains more than 3 novelty points, a surcharge of RMB 50 will be applied for each additional point. If a patent novelty search project contains more than 3 novelty points, a surcharge of RMB 100 will be applied for each additional point.

3. Supplementary Search Fee Standard: A supplementary search involves updating the literature for an existing novelty search report (with unchanged novelty points) by retrieving data from the most recent 1 to 12 months. If the original report was completed more than 12 months prior, it will be charged as a completely new search.

•  Domestic or International Supplementary Search: RMB 50 × Number of months supplemented

•  Domestic & International Supplementary Search: RMB 100 × Number of months supplemented

4. Two copies of the final report are provided for each novelty search project.

5. This fee schedule takes effect from December 9, 2020.

 

IV. Thesis Similarity Check Fees

•  Regular Papers: RMB 30 per paper

•  Undergraduate Theses: RMB 30 per thesis

•  Graduate Degree Theses (Master's/PhD): RMB 60 per thesis
