I. Column Introduction
In 2020, the COVID-19 outbreak occurred in China, and research on transmission sources, vaccines, and treatments is actively underway. To help our university's faculty and students stay informed about the latest research progress on COVID-19, the library has established a "COVID-19 Literature" section. We regularly search databases such as PubMed, SCI, CNKI, Wanfang, and VIP to compile relevant Chinese and international literature, with daily updates. Currently, literature on COVID-19 from multiple databases—including Taylor & Francis, Wiley, Springer, Elsevier, and the New England Journal of Medicine—is available for free download.
Since some researchers may first publish their findings on preprint platforms, for a more comprehensive understanding of COVID-19 research progress, you can also search preprint websites such as medRxiv, bioRxiv, scienceOPEN, and ChinaXiv.
Preprint refers to research papers, technical reports, and other articles that researchers voluntarily share at academic conferences or online for peer communication purposes before formal publication. (Source: Baidu Baike)
Additionally, several academic institutions and publishers have established dedicated COVID-19 literature sections to help researchers quickly stay updated on domestic and international research trends.
