The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) online patent search database contains scanned images of all PCT application specifications published since January 1997. For specifications prior to January 1997, users must access the "Worldwide" database through the European Patent Office's online patent search system.

Registration Requirement:
Users must register before conducting patent searches.

Update Schedule:

Bibliographic items and abstracts: Updated weekly on Thursdays

Scanned images: Added to the database 14 days after publication
