MIT OpenCourseWare
Access Range: Unrestricted
Access Address: Online Access
In 1999, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) launched its OpenCourseWare initiative, which officially became freely accessible to the public in 2002. As of September 2023, nearly 2,500 online courses have been made available. The platform offers course browsing and search functions.
Users can click "Search" on the homepage to find courses by keyword, filtering by subject, academic level, course number, department, or course features. Clicking on a course name displays detailed information.
The course information page includes:
Basic Details: Course introduction, code, name, department, term offered, academic level, instructor, and full description.
Free Online Resources: Course notes, assignments, schedules, and reading materials (available on the left side of the page).
Download Options: Full course materials—including syllabi, calendars, reading resources, and lecture notes—are available for batch download.
