Our university provides access to 388 medical e-textbooks from Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) on the iTextbook platform. These resources cover foundational and clinical medicine, public health, nursing, and other related fields. Each title has been selectively introduced through the Foreign Textbook Center Project of the Ministry of Education and is hosted locally via the iTextbook platform.
Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW), part of Wolters Kluwer, is a world-renowned medical publisher established in 1792 and headquartered in Philadelphia, USA. As a leading global provider of medical information, LWW is widely trusted by healthcare professionals worldwide.
The LWW e-textbook collection includes resources across basic medicine, clinical medicine, medical imaging, pharmacy, and more. It offers content ranging from theoretical knowledge and practical skills to exam preparation, serving as a comprehensive and professional learning resource for medical students. Notable essential titles include Grant’s Atlas of Anatomy, Grant’s Dissector, and Bates’ Guide to Physical Examination and History Taking.
Access Guide:
1. Direct access within campus IP ranges. Use VPN or CARSI for off-campus access.
2. From the platform homepage, select the “Purchased” section and click the publisher icon to view the full list of available textbooks.
Usage Notes:
- Permanent access is granted once activated.
- Online reading has no concurrent user limits.
- Offline reading is supported via download to an e-reader. Each downloaded e-book is available for 40 days and can be re-downloaded after expiration.
