The event began with Professor Gu Ping, Director and Party Branch Secretary of the library, introducing World Book Day, the significance of nationwide reading, and the library's featured services, advocating for using reading to cultivate the mind and enhance literacy. Subsequently, both Party branches jointly signed the "Party-building Cooperation Agreement," committing to deepen collaboration in areas such as Party member education, science popularization, and cultural services in the future, aiming to build a "Literature + Health" Party-building brand.

Cervical Spine Health · Advancing Together

Following the signing ceremony, Professor Zhang Zhongmin, General Party Branch Secretary of the Spinal Orthopedics Department, delivered a science popularization lecture titled "The Increasingly Younger-Onset Cervical Spondylosis: How to Prevent and Treat It?" Drawing on clinical cases, he provided an accessible analysis of the harm caused by unhealthy habits such as smartphone dependency and prolonged sedentary work on the cervical spine, as well as how "tech-neck" individuals can scientifically protect their necks. The relatable content sparked active interaction among attendees, creating a lively atmosphere. Participants expressed that the health knowledge on cervical spondylosis prevention and treatment not only addressed their personal concerns but also provided new ideas for future services.

Party-building Leadership · Moving Forward with Collective Strength

During the Party branch development exchange session, both sides discussed topics such as "how to invigorate Party-building vitality" and "promoting the dual integration and mutual enhancement of Party-building and professional work." The Spinal Orthopedics Party Branch shared its featured Party-building experiences, including "Health Science Popularization Enters Communities," "Party-building Leading Grassroots Engagement," and "Integration of Party-building and Professional Work." The Library Party Branch introduced cultural service projects such as "Literature Nourishes the Heart · Joint Reading of Red Classics" and "Party-building + Digital Culture," while also exploring issues related to research papers and innovative studies. Both parties agreed that this cooperation was not only an interdisciplinary exchange of ideas but also initiated a new "Health + Culture" model for serving the public.

This cooperative activity, using books as a medium and health science popularization as a bridge, not only enriched the forms of Party-building activities but also promoted collaborative innovation between the two branches in serving students and the public. In the future, both sides will continue to deepen their collaboration, transforming Party-building achievements into tangible benefits for the people, and contributing to enhancing public health literacy and building a literature-enriched society.
